Have you always wondered what mysteries and monsters reside in Area 51? Well, this year, some lucky (or should we say unlucky?) Edmontonians got to find out. Running from September 25th to Friday, November 13th, the 2020 edition of Deadmonton House was one of the spookiest yet. Rockbox was proud to supply Deadmonton with custom container modifications to provide both functionality and to help set the stage – what else would you expect to find in Area 51 than some dark and spooky sea cans? Just don’t peek inside. It’s classified.
At our main attraction on site, a 40’ custom container decked out as a bar and rooftop patio, you can hype yourself up for all the scary sights, sounds, and monsters that lurk beyond the Area 51 gates, or you can get in the mood to take a walk among the tombstones in Rise of the Dead. If you’re lucky enough to survive either, you can celebrate with a socially distanced cocktail under the rooftop heaters. The customized interior for the bar makes for easy, quick service and efficient food and drink storage.
When you check in, you’re likely to see our 20’ container modification that serves as Deadmonton’s ticketing booth. We’ve got the interior decked out to maximize comfort and space for their spooktacular ticket takers. They’ve earned it after surviving Area 51 themselves!
When you’re ready, enter if you dare. Deadmonton House promises all the jumpy, scary, scream-inducing frights of a classic haunted house, featuring some of the best costumes and special effects makeup in Edmonton. We hope you make it back to the other side to those warm container rooftop patio heaters, but like we said, no promises.
