Boyle Street Washroom Project

Challenge

Boyle Street Community Organization reached out to Rockbox to build a custom mobile washroom as a pilot project to serve the unhoused community living in Edmonton's core.

Solution

We created a customized, durable two-stall washroom that can withstand the elements and the potential for vandalism. It's made of strong steel with a barred window so you can see whether or not the washroom is occupied.

Results

This is the first of hopefully many washrooms built in partnership with Boyle Street to provide Edmonton's unhoused community with a safe, secure location to use the washroom. We look forward to future projects with their team.
