City of Kitimat

Challenge

The City of Kitimat approached Rockbox looking for assistance in manufacturing a weigh scale building for their new facility that had nothing currently on site. With a few additional requirements, they needed a team that would be able to incorporate their requests into their new building.

Solution

Rockbox worked with the City to design a very custom and usable structure that met their requirements and could be ready in time for their opening. Rockbox designed custom bump-out building extensions to expand the container's dimensions providing more usable space, and incorporated a kitchen and shower for their staff to utilize on site.

Results

In just 12 short weeks, Rockbox brought a concept from idea to design to completion to on site. They City was able to proceed with their opening with confidence they had selected the right building.
